Letter from the Editors:
Rosemont College encourages its students to be opinionated individuals who are not afraid to express their beliefs and follow through with their principles. One can even find these ideals within Rosemont’s mission statement: “Rosemont College seeks to develop in all members of the community open and critical minds.”
Our respected professors wisely inform us that we should not sit idly
by and observe injustices happening around us. If we, as conscientious citizens, should feel strongly about a particular issue, then we should not let any obstacle hinder our convictions.

Lady. Gaga. The one called the new Madonna released a brand new single, “Bad Romance” for her Fame Monster album. The concept for the new CD is dark and introspective. The life of glamour, fame, “Paparazzi,” or money is not addressed. “Bad Romance” confronts the idea of love at its worst and one’s quest for revenge.

The
battered strip of land known as the Gaza Strip has seen much blood in its
streets, which is for sure. The count of
dead and wounded, however, still cannot be agreed upon. After three weeks of fighting the Israeli
troops repositioned along the border. In
their wake an estimate of 1,300 Palestinians were killed and 4,336 wounded. Who
can be trusted to survey the dead is the main issue at hand.
