University of California Students’ 32% Tuition Increase

School tuition is a huge factor in not only determining which school we will attend as college students but, also what career we will pursue, as well as how far we will go in our education. For that reason, it's easy to understand why an outraged group of University of California- Davis campus students decided to protest at their schools' administration office on November 19^th, 2009, after it was announced that their school tuition would be increasing 32% for the Fall 2010 semester.

Glee Review: Are You A “Gleek”?

     Typically, members of the glee club are not exactly positioned at the top of the high school social totem pole.  Luckily for the cast members of Fox's new series Glee however, there's no way you can watch an episode without cheering for the success of the glee clubs' eclectically combined misfits.  The first season of the series has focused on the academic, social and personal challenges that the club members and their instructor, Mr. Shuester (Matthew Morrison) have all endured in pursuit of greatness for the “sectionals” competition.

Movie Review:The Orphan

Released on July 24^th, 2009, “Orphan” has become arguably the best thriller of the year. The movie begins by telling the story of The Coleman family, in which parents, Kate (Vera Farmiga) and John (Peter Saarsgard) are grieving the devastating loss of their unborn baby. Though the loss is taking a great toll on them individually, it's taking an even greater toll on their marriage.  Kate, who is suffering with traumatic nightmares from the event, suggests that they adopt a child. The two would've never guessed that this is where their lives would be completely changed.

The Kidnapping and Return of Jaycee Dugard

When you hear that a child has been kidnapped, you usually don't expect them to return unharmed.  You especially don't expect them to return unharmed 18 years later; however, that was the unbelievable case for Jaycee Dugard.
