There is a long held tradition at Rosemont; right before the fall semester comes to a close, there is a celebration of Christmas. On the last Sunday of the semester there is an Advent mass held in the chapel. It is then followed by a candlelight walk of caroling around campus. Everyone
then joins together on the terrace in front of Main for our college’s
oldest tradition, the Penny Toss. The President of the college, the
Dean of Students, and the SGA President throw pennies from the balcony
to the students catching them below. Everyone then proceeds inside of Main for desserts and hot beverages.

First off, I would like to say that this is not even a question, for we are born here in the city of Brother-LEE-love and we bleed red, just as it should be. The Phillies are one of the oldest teams and have been around since 1883, while the Yankees started in 1901. Plus, we Phillies fans are born with this true hatred for the blue devils, or as others may refer to them as the Yanks.

This year the basketball team had a huge lineup of games, with eight in the fall semester and 17 this semester. This is a tall order for any team, but especially a young team of nine.
